Professional Training
Caroline has extensive experience in professional training.
She believes the body to be central to the learning process and has developed an approach in which theoretical knowledge comes alive through experiential learning.
The body is thus an active agent of change and offers a universal connection, which transcends differences of language, social standing, culture and ability. The body is also host to creative symbols, through which we can enter deeper layers of knowing and arrive at an ever deepening understanding of experience. Through embodied, lived experience we can accommodate the internal shifts which under-pin effective learning.
Caroline is currently Programme Convenor for the Dance Movement Psychotherapy MA at Goldsmiths, London University.
In addition, she is a regular visiting tutor for the Nordoff-Robbins Music Therapy MA, Forest Independent Primary Collegiate PGCE, and guest lectures on a number of other professional training programmes.
